Atlanta Workshop on Public Policy and Child Well-being (PPCW)

The purpose of the Atlanta Workshop on Public Policy and Child Well-being (PPCW) is to provide a platform for researchers who seek to better understand the factors affecting child well-being, broadly defined. The workshop will include presentations of policy-relevant empirical research—from any discipline—related to children.

Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

  • Prevention of adverse childhood experiences

  • Promotion of child well-being

  • Child welfare

  • Child health

  • Parenting behaviors

  • Pregnancy-related and birth outcomes

  • Food insecurity

  • Housing insecurity

  • Education

  • Immigration

  • Juvenile justice involvement
